Tribute to Bam Bam Kazaam 

Kazaam came from Valerie Ford, (RIP my dear friend) from Canada..he was the main Coton on Animal Planets-Dogs 101

I fell in love with him the moment I saw him at a show prancing around like a champion…

He excelled in the show ring and in our hearts..One of the sweetest boys ever! Here are some of his accomplishments.

Kazaam was #1 Coton de Tulear in the The Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario. He was also #1 Top dog in group and #6 Top dog overall for 2009. The South Western Rare Breed Club is the largest rare breed club in Canada.

He retired here in CT a few years back with the most wonderful family..Kathy always kept me up to date on our little man.  Kathy worked very hard with him and he became a certified therapy dog under her direction..he was loved by everyone, especially the homeless Vets. They always asked for him. He was the man.

Bam Bam loved the outdoors and according to Kathy, he always brought a houseful of leaves in with him..he didn’t care..what’s a few leaves stuck to your butt anyway?

Yesterday. I received some heartbreaking news..He hadn’t been eating or feeling well and after a few days and an ultrasound, they discovered a large tumor in his liver..there was nothing anyone could do..Kathy and her husband Pat had the horrible task of helping him cross over the rainbow bridge..I know their hearts are broken..that is not an easy thing to do..but we must always think of our fur babies first and always do the right thing and never let them suffer..no matter how difficult....I know he had a wonderful life here and especially with Kathy and Pat where he was treated like a king and loved dearly.  He is now running and playing with Valerie... and some day we will all meet again.. my little man.
