♥Animal Planet Comes to Connecticut♥

Last year we were asked by Animal Planet_Dogs 101 to come to Manhattan and do the inside shoot for their 1st rare breed edition of Dogs 101.  The Coton de Tulear didn't make it into last years airing because they were looking for a special Coton story to be incorporated into their presentation of the breed.
So with the inside part of the presentation on the white background stage completed, and some outside footage done from a breeder's home in NC...they just needed the "special story" and some footage of adult Cotons playing with children.
They got their story...STAY TUNED...I don't want to give it away...you will have to watch this fall.  They just needed a little more footage of children playing with adult dogs, and a few other little things to complete the shoot.  They called us early last week and came here last Friday, April 2, 2010.
We rounded up our nephews, Zachary, Lucas and darling little Nicholas Ardito, as well as my friend Veronica's 2 girls, Lexy and Victoria, to come on over and play with some Cotons.
That they did!  The very nice cameraman shot some footage inside in different rooms in the house, and outside as well.
Ever try to keep 8 Cotons clean for a day?  Ugh, that is no easy task :) So sorry folks!
So, if all goes according to plan, the Coton will be featured on Animal Planet's Dogs 101 this Fall.  I guess we'll believe it when we see it.
All the dogs behaved as well as can be expected with so many people around. My friend Veronica took a few pictures of the filming in action.
Keep checking back for updates.  We hope to bring the Coton to your home soon.
Below.. this pic shows through the dining room door into the sunroom.

Stay tuned.  We will try to keep you updated on the progress while keeping all our fingers, toes, and paws crossed.

I'm thrilled that your Cotons may be shown on Dogs 101. What a wonderful way to introduce the breed to the rest of America.
Our Coton is 3 1/2 months old and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him. We looked for 4 months to find the right Coton and Buster fits us to a T.
Keep up the good work as ambassadors for the Coton!!
